The wedding car for the couple

For the couple, the Top category offers a long-wheelbase Mercedes S-Class, with plenty of rear space for a wedding dress with a train. If you prefer a more understated saloon, the Business category includes the Mercedes E-Class and the Audi A6. The chauffeur wears a suit and tie, opens the door for you and knows the access routes to churches, registry offices and venues.

Typical trips are from home or the hotel to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the photo location and from there to the reception. If you would like to decorate the car with flowers or ribbons, mention it when booking and we will confirm what is possible. We can also drive parents or witnesses in a second vehicle so they arrive on time.

Transport for your guests

Many weddings take place in country houses, wineries or estates outside Barcelona, where there is no public transport and where it is better for guests not to drive after dinner. The Top-Van is a minivan for up to 8 passengers, and by combining several vehicles we can take groups of guests from the hotel to the ceremony, the reception and back.

For guests travelling from abroad or from other cities, we also run transfers from Barcelona-El Prat Airport or the train station to the hotel in the days before the wedding. That way family and friends arriving from elsewhere have their transport sorted and you do not need to worry about it.

How we coordinate the timing on the wedding day

A wedding runs to a tight schedule: the bride cannot arrive before the guests, and the reception starts at a set time. That is why we plan the service from your programme for the day, with the times and addresses for each moment, and decide how many vehicles are needed and in what order they should leave so that everything fits.

For the return, it is common to run several departures from the reception: a first one for older guests and families with children, and another later on, often in the early hours. Pre-booked services run 24 hours a day, so we can schedule the returns for whatever times suit you.

Weddings in the Penedès, on the coast and across Catalonia

Autolux has its offices in Vilafranca del Penedès, an area with many country houses and wineries that host weddings. From Barcelona, the Penedès is about 45-55 km away (approx. 45-55 minutes depending on traffic), and Sitges about 40 km (approx. 35-45 minutes). We also cover weddings in Montserrat, the Maresme, the Costa Brava and anywhere else in Catalonia.

The price is set in a custom quote based on the number of vehicles, the hours and the trips on the day. Once accepted, the price is fixed, with no meter and no surprises. As wedding dates tend to cluster in certain months, we recommend booking early and confirming the final programme with us as soon as you have it.
