T1 and T2: where your driver meets you
El Prat airport has two terminals several kilometres apart: T1, used by most traditional and long-haul airlines, and T2, used by many of the low-cost carriers. Before booking, check on your boarding pass which terminal you are flying into or out of, and give it to us together with your flight number so the driver goes to the right building.
When you leave the baggage reclaim area, your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. Drivers wear a suit and tie, take care of your luggage and walk with you to the vehicle. On the way to the airport, the driver drops you directly in front of the departures area of the correct terminal.

Common destinations in Barcelona
Most transfers go to hotels in the centre (Eixample, Passeig de Gràcia, the Old Town and the seafront), to offices in the 22@ district, along Diagonal or around Plaça Europa in L'Hospitalet, and to Sants station to connect with high-speed trains. We also drive to the Fira Barcelona Gran Via exhibition centre, a few minutes from the airport.
The usual route follows the Ronda Litoral ring road or the Gran Via, depending on the time and destination. In the morning and evening rush hours the journey can take longer, so book your return with enough margin before check-in closes. If you need to stop somewhere on the way, tell us when you book.

Fixed price and the right vehicle for each trip
Unlike a taxi, Autolux has no taximeter: the price is fixed and confirmed when you book, and it does not change with traffic or the route taken. You know exactly what you will pay before you set off, which also makes company expenses easier, with invoicing by department, cost centre or reference.
You can choose between the Business category (Mercedes E-Class or Audi A6), Top (long-wheelbase Mercedes S-Class), Electric (Tesla Model S) and the Top-Van, a minivan for up to 8 passengers suited to families and groups with plenty of luggage. If you are travelling with children and need a child seat, mention it when booking and we will confirm availability.

How far in advance should I book the transfer?
Book the transfer as soon as you have your flight times, because Autolux works on a pre-booked basis only. For last-minute requests, call +34 93 818 23 36 and we will tell you if a vehicle is available.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Give us your flight number when booking and contact us if the schedule changes. We will adjust the pickup time at the airport as far as possible.

Yes. Tell us the stops you need when booking and we will include them in the fixed price we confirm.
Is there room for luggage?
Yes. Every vehicle has a boot and the driver loads the luggage for you; for lots of suitcases or groups, the Top-Van (up to 8 passengers) offers more space. Tell us how many bags you have when booking.
