A small airport with many low-cost flights
Girona-Costa Brava airport is in Vilobí d'Onyar, about 12 km south of Girona. It has a single terminal with arrivals and departures close together, served mainly by low-cost airlines and seasonal flights. Many travellers use it to reach Barcelona or to spend a few days on the coast, and a private transfer avoids waiting for buses with luggage.

To Barcelona on the AP-7
The drive to Barcelona is about 100 km, almost entirely on the AP-7 motorway, and takes approximately 75-95 minutes depending on traffic on the way into the city. It is a comfortable alternative to the bus or train when you have luggage, travel as a group or need to reach a specific address directly.
We drop you at your hotel, office, Sants station or El Prat airport if you have a connecting flight. For the return journey, allow enough time for check-in, especially on Friday afternoons and during holiday periods, when the AP-7 can be busier than usual. The fixed price stays the same whatever the traffic.
Costa Brava and Girona city
From the airport, Lloret de Mar is about 30 km away, Tossa de Mar about 40 km, and Platja d'Aro or Sant Feliu de Guíxols about 35-40 km. Destinations further north, such as Begur, Calella de Palafrugell or Roses, take longer. Central Girona is about 15-20 minutes from the terminal.
Many clients use this transfer to reach a hotel or holiday home, for weddings at country estates in the Empordà, or for company meetings on the coast. If you would like to stop on the way, for example in Girona's old quarter, mention it when booking and we will include it in the fixed price.
